Foundation PSP French - Perpetua
Perpetua students demonstrate excellent linguistic control and growing independence in their spoken and written French. They produce extended sentences with a range of vocabulary and grammatical accuracy, including consistent use of the present tense and the beginnings of other tenses or structures (e.g. near future, negatives, or reflexive verbs). They take risks in speaking, ask questions spontaneously, and contribute actively to group and paired tasks.
Their pronunciation is clear and confident, and they begin to manipulate language creatively — using intensifiers, opinions, and connectives to express ideas with detail. These students often show curiosity beyond the lesson, engaging with cultural facts, online resources, or enrichment tasks. By the end of Foundation PSP, they are capable of building paragraphs of meaningful language and applying grammar flexibly, with a clear sense of audience and purpose.
