Advanced PSP Computer Science
Advanced PSP students demonstrate confident understanding of core A Level Computer Science concepts, including programming constructs, computational theory, data representation, and systems architecture. They complete the NEA (Non-Examined Assessment) to a secure standard, designing and implementing a working solution using a procedural or object-oriented approach. Their work shows clear logic, functional code, and an understanding of the software development lifecycle.
They engage fully with the curriculum, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and participate in class discussions. Many apply algorithmic thinking to unfamiliar problems and begin to use basic data structures such as arrays and records to build efficient solutions.
