Participants were required to produce a comprehensive book review that included a summary of the book's main themes, the readers opinions, including what they found engaging, confusing, strong, or weak in the book. Pupils highlighted themes and big ideas the book explores and explained why they matter. Pupils provided personal reflections supported by quotations from the text.
