Essential Skills L2: Literacy or Numeracy Pathway
This pathway guides participants through the knowledge, practice and demonstration needed to achieve a recognised Essential Skills Level 2 qualification in either literacy or numeracy. It orients learners to the qualification and platform, builds foundational skills, gives structured practice in authentic tasks, asks learners to explain and support others, and culminates in formal assessment and reflection. Each step awards a badge that recognises the learning mode and prepares the learner for the next stage. The pathway suits adults preparing for work, further study or everyday life skills improvement and aligns with Navigatr learning modes to ensure progression from first exploration to leadership in applying these skills.
