Adult Social Care
The Careers and Technical Education team at SkillsHouse in collaboration with, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bradford District Care Trust, Airedale Hospital and Social Care employers have created this pathway which provides a route into the adult social care sector for individuals considering a career in health and/or social care or those returning to work after a career break.
The pathway provides an opportunity to develop your employability skills before then growing your knowledge about the health and social care sector. Beneficiaries of the pathway will then have the opportunity to develop technical and specialist Health and Social Care skills such as developing a knowledge and understanding of the ‘Care Values’ before then applying to Volunteer within the sector.
This pathway is open to Bradford, District and Craven residents and is aimed at students in secondary school through to post 16 education and beyond.
